The team
We're a mixed bag in the best way. Experience on this roster runs from high school hockey all the way through D1 college, and ages span from 21 to 40-something — which means on any given night you've got a 23-year-old skating next to a guy who's been playing since before he was born.
The team is local, but the backgrounds aren't. Players have come in from across the Midwest, out to California and New Jersey, and we've got several Canadian guys rounding out the roster. Everyone ended up in KC for different reasons — and ended up on the ice together for the same one.

About the rink
The Kansas City Ice Center has been the heartbeat of hockey in this city for decades. Two rinks running four to five nights a week, year-round — it's where kids learn to skate, where amateur players keep the game alive into their 40s and beyond, and where teams like the Brew In's have been competing since 2020.
KCIC runs one of the largest adult recreational hockey programs in the Midwest. The summer 2026 season alone spans six competitive divisions — from elite A/B play down through D League, 45+ League, Silver/Bronze, and developmental tiers — drawing players from across the metro and as far as Topeka and St. Louis.
